Nyzia Easterling aka Nyzia Nij'a, the best-selling author of Saved by Grace, is a woman who wears many hats. Not only is she a mother, sister, aunt, and friend, she serves as the CEO of Saving Grace Ministries, Inc., is a Pastor, teacher, grief counselor, and now author. And it doesn't stop there. Easterling is trained as a Master Facilitator for trauma recovery and an Aces and Deviance Specialist with the state of New Jersey.

Raised in Camden, New Jersey, Easterling was born to the late Vanessa O'Bryant (Reynolds) & Micheal Reynolds. Schools attended include Pennsauken High School, Camden County College, and Oakwood College, now a university. Easterling is trained as a Master Facilitator for Trauma Recovery and trained Aces and deviance specialists with the state of NJ. She is fully devoted to her community and all the youth she can serve in Camden.

Easterling is the Founder and CEO of Saving Grace Ministries Inc.—a community supplementary support program for families impacted by Trauma. Saving Grace Ministries Inc. is a 501c3 Non-profit organization that serves youth in Camden City and Philadelphia, PA. Most children served by this program have lost their parents or siblings to murder. We also provide trauma healing for youth and adults who may have suffered many traumatic experiences. Saving Grace Ministries Inc. was birthed from Easterling's tragedy in 2003 after the murder of her former husband, leaving her a young widow and single mother.

2003-2010, Easterling focused on her recovery along with her Goddaughter Jennah Brown, who she was raising as her own at that time. On the anniversary of Easterling's husband's death, April 14, 2011, she launched Saving Grace Ministries Inc. Easterling's vision is for the organization to help families like hers who were affected by the violent death of their loved ones. The program would offer counseling, activities, parent support groups, trauma healing groups, and tutorial help to children. Also, the non-profit would provide assistance and resources for the parents/guardians of the children involved with the program.

Easterling has one daughter, Eternity, and one son Rashiem. She has found happiness again but will never forget the impact of her first husband's life and death and how her work is the best way to uphold his legacy.
