Shenitha Burton grew up in Chicago's Robert Taylor projects, surrounded by her immediate family, aunties, uncles, and cousins. She has gone through the normal sequence of life, attending schools and completing her education in law related curriculum, forming a family, while simultaneously pursuing her goals & dreams. It wasn’t until her employment with the branch of the Federal Judiciary 25 years ago that she began to learn her strengths in developing, finding her passion for being a lifelong learner and visionary leader, dedicated herself to serving with excellence, and her ability of having an analytical outlook.
Unexpectedly, the Covid-19 pandemic ignited Burton's passion for empowering the underrepresented voices. In April 2020, she founded SHE PUBLISHING LLC, providing a platform for individuals to share their stories during those challenging times of loss and unemployment. Her initiative opened opportunities for aspiring authors. To her surprise, Burton's vision resonated with many others. Today, SHE PUBLISHING LLC boasts over 50+ authors, each with their own unique perspective and story. No ones’ fingerprint is the same. The company has expanded to include sister publishing companies and remarkable product packaging, publishing a diverse range of books from personal memoirs to children’s books to poetry. Ultimately, Shenitha identifies as a corporate-preneur, overseeing the operations of a Federal Courthouse and serving as the CEO of SHE PUBLISHING LLC, all the while establishing their non-profit venture, "The Little She Project." But here's a tidbit you might not be aware of: amidst these endeavors, Burton takes pleasure in indulging in dessert before dinner, public speaking, authoring nonfiction books, skating, playing the piano, socializing with neighbors in the driveway, and last but certainly not least, spending time and vacationing with her family. She values the art of life. |

A: Having a full-time career, I begin my writing during the 4:00 a.m. hour, making sure to stop when it's time to head to work, and on the weekends, I start my writing in the AM part of the day as well. The early bird gets the worm.

If the walls of your home could speak, what would they say? From the crevices of their corners, to the wallpaper or base paint, to the crown moldings or tray ceilings, what secrets would they share? The room décor of your living spaces can affect the tone of your relationships. Over the years of my marriage, I began to compare the décor of our homes to the décor of our relationship.
Serenity is the time I spend alone that is dedicated to my time spent in the word of God, keeping me humble. Serenity is me waking up to palm trees and the sun sparkling off the water, giving off the reflection of diamonds. Serenity is a lake view adorned with lavender, fuchsia, and yellow flowers surrounded by greenery. Serenity, for me, is what it means to have heaven on earth.
I knew I had to finally make my vision of having an eighty-twenty mindset a reality. Most importantly, I needed a man I did not have to persuade to keep coming home but a man who wanted to come home.

I agree if you are in a relationship it helps to remember how you met because the beginning of relationships are always exciting.
