As I sat next to my grandmother Janice as she lay in her bed at the rehabilitation facility, I asked her to tell me her story. Before she could begin, I said, "grandmother, let's not talk about that today. We can talk about it the next time we meet." And the next time we met is when she was in the hospital in hospice. She could barely speak, and later that day, she passed away. I didn't get the opportunity to hear her unique story. I'd missed out. My fear of her dying held me back from gathering her history, wisdom, and mysteries. Although the thought of that moment remains a challenge for me, I began to learn a piece of my purpose, which is to establish a platform for others to tell their stories and not to hold off until tomorrow what I can do today. I used fear as motivation to move and live life because you only have one life to live, as far as I know. inspiration & motivation
January 2020 is when my husband began his YouTube Channel: Showtime Wheelz. Him taking that huge yet simple leap of faith inspired me to move from fear to action to establish a business of my own. However, the COVID-19 pandemic would motivate me to move forward sooner rather than later. who we've become
