CYNTHIA GREEN is a native of Chicago, IL.
Cynthia Green found out about the hearing loss of her son when he was 2 years old. Her stories are loosely based on some of his experiences growing up in a hearing society. The books are written to empower children to embrace their differences. Follow her as she takes you through the journey of Martell’s World.

MESSAGE FROM the Author of

I wrote this book to remind my son and others, especially those that may feel “different” for whatever reason. That there may be times that they feel mistreated because of their differences, but to rise above those fears. I raised my son to embrace his uniqueness and make people see him for who he is, not his hearing loss. In writing this series, Martell’s World, I hope to start a conversation amongst other families to discuss that people come in many forms. For my son to be proud of who he is and know that he can do whatever he chooses in life. WITH NO LIMITATIONS!

DELIGHTFUL. This is a beautiful book that is as much for children as it is for adults. It’s a short read with a very meaningful message. We are all different yet the same in so many ways! The illustrations are eye catching and colorful. I’m gifting “Martell’s World You're No Different Than Me” to my two grandsons, who I’m sure will enjoy it as much as I did.
