The Writing Process

How did this book come to fruition?  "Cracking the Code | 10 Possible Reasons You Didn't Get the Job" started as a PowerPoint presentation I delivered at a tech conference in Atlanta, GA, in the summer of 2023. I presented to an audience of nearly 200 people and it received a lot of positive feedback, with many attendees wishing I had more time to speak. The book gives me an opportunity to dive deeper. Getting started in your career or trying to get ahead can feel like solving a complicated puzzle. The idea of 'Cracking the Code' is to reverse engineer the process and finally break through. The writing process overall took about nine months for me.

Coffee and music are required. And an occasional walk around my neighborhood if I'm writing at home. If not at home, you can catch me at a trendy coffee shop somewhere in Raleigh, NC but I have to have to get a table near a window.
