Phoenix Transforming is the story of one woman’s journey from ashes to ascension, from darkness to sunlight, from bondage to freedom. After a decades-long battle with PTSD resulting from childhood and adult trauma, Lesa shares how she rises out of the soot and into flight. Lesa takes the reader through the steps she implemented to aid in her healing and restoration. She wants the reader to know that no matter far down into the dirt he or she falls, ascension is possible!
Lesa Butler is an author, ghostwriter, educator, and speaker born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Lesa’s purpose and passion lie in assisting others in healing while helping to bring their dreams to fruition. She does this through ghostwriting, book development, workshops, and speaking. |

Lesa Butler is an author, educator, and speaker originally from Chicago, Illinois.
Lesa is the author of “What If,” “From the Depths of My Soul,” and “Phoenix Transforming.”
She is the CEO of Divine Reimaging, LLC, and founder and president of
Woman, Discover Thyself, a women’s empowerment non-profit organization.
Lesa holds a degree in Justice Systems, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and completed post-graduate study in Community Counseling.
She has created children’s entrepreneurship programs such as The Youth Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and New Legacy Academy,
an educational experience designed to empower youth to use their gifts and talents to create economic opportunities.
Lesa is the mother of three exceptional children.
When she is not hammering away at a project, she can be found traveling, writing, and dancing.
